    This is really important. The default user profile has to have all the setup options disabled. I have yet to come up with something that can't be done today that will be able to be done with CRM for everyone. Have you guys? How would this apply?

      Hi Steven! I'd say the main thing that is uniquely new to CRM for Everyone is the ability to group modules into folders, and some of the unique permissions options for Team Modules (within a given Teamspace)

    Thanks Wayne, Great info. I have an existing Wordpress site and I'm too far into that with support so Zsites is not going to work. Is there a way of having sites as a sub set of a url? I'm wondering if there is a use case for Zsites as a support for another part of the business. Any thoughts or is just one or the other?

      Hey Stephen, Wayne here, though I haven't tested it, you should be able to create a subdomain in your DNS settings and then point the Zoho site to that subdomain. However, WordPress is excellent and depending on your current setup, it would probably be best to stick with WordPress.

    Why not just use the Zoho Campaigns auto email sequence? That's likely more powerful.

      You could, however, this would be more for SQLs after they have been handed off from the marketing campaigns. Since there is more built in functionality that is easy to configure for not only emails, but calls and task updates as well.

    Am I the only one who is lost moving from part 1 to 2? All we did was build out a basic form in part 1 and suddenly we have a whole bunch of stuff including users and reports done here.     This is great! It works perfectly. I have a custom "Licenses" module that lists all our product licenses with a look-up field for the Account that the license is linked to. This allows me to search for all Licenses that are associated to the current account and lists them all in a table. But is there a way to make the xml entry row or Field label a link to my module's License entry?

    Guys. I love your stuff. But that ad that you put up implying that implementing Zoho is difficult to implement makes it tough to point anyone considering using Zoho to your videos. You might want to rethink that.

We aimed to emphasize the hefty costs of team meetings and onboarding sessions. Our solution is designed to get teams trained and using Zoho effectively through our self-paced courses.     Fantastic video - I setup a cadence that adds a task when the email is clicked. I have a unsubscribe button and a learn more button. If they unsubcribe then the task gets setup to call them. Does system have ability to differentiate between an unsubscribe click and a different click?

      No, Zoho has another application, Zoho Commerce, that handles e-commerce. However, it is really only good for very basic shops.

      There is a connector via Data Source in Analytics for Zoho Creator. We don't cover it in this series, but it would be similar when you connect another data source to analyze the data in Analytics. As far as better, just depends on what you are trying to achieve.       Zoho One is the first purchase I made as a sole proprietor. Easily the best money I’ve spent. Every app is not perfect but many are good enough. CRM is world-class 👍

      Hi Andrea! I'd say the best trick to implementing Zoho One is to take it in phases. Trying to implement and switch over to everything at once can be overwhelming.

      Hi User! For that case, you'd need to set up the auto-transition as a workflow+custom function. You can restrict the workflow based on Stage = value, and Last Activity Time > 7 days ago (for example. Then, you'll need to use a function to override the stage/status, as when it's locked in the blueprint a standard field update action will not work.

    Hey - does Campaigns push data back to CRM? Ive set up a sync to move my leads/contacts from CRM to campaigns. What Im looking for now is that Id like to see campaign open and click data pushed back to CRM in some way. For instance, can I increase a lead's score (in CRM) based on an email they open or click in Campaigns?

      You can update score based on open/click for both Campaigns and Workflows in Zoho Campaigns. This data is reflected back in the CRM when the score is updated. You can also under advanced options push data/task to the CRM as well.

    You mention your plugin is paid $10/mo, but pricing isn't listed on the Marketplace or in the Help Documentation... Can you update and make this more transparent? To add, how do Address Line 2's work with the plugin? Docs only list Street, no Street 2. How do you account for that? Would love to use it but we use a custom line 2 address field. Would be great to be able to map that.

      Hi Brian - it is possible to de-dupe via Deluge but it gets a bit complicated. You'll need to code in rules to the function to choose a primary record for field conflicts, and ensure that all Related Lists are processed so that the produced record doesn't lose any data.

      @@Zenatta I currently do a lot of manual deduping using this process... However I lose the related Books sales order in deals, if the record I merge it with is more recent than the record with the sales order. I will investigate the deluge route...will see how far I get!

      Hi Brian - good call-out! Using Deluge, you can also merge the Books versions of the Customers in the process. Each Books customer (synced with CRM) will store the CRM ID of the corresponding Account/Contact in CRM in the payload. So, you can search by each CRM ID you are merging to find the corresponding Books Contact/Customer ID. Then, use this code-snippet to merge them there: contactIdsToBeMerged = list(); contactIdsToBeMerged.add(contactIdToBeMerged); mergeContactParameters = map(); mergeContactParameters.put("contact_ids",contactIdsToBeMerged); mergeContact = invokeurl[ url: "www.zohoapis.com/books/v3/contacts/"+<customerIdToKeep>+"/merge?organization_id="+booksOrganizationId type: POST parameters: mergeContactParameters connection: <connectionName> ]; info mergeContact

    Is there a way in Canvas Table View to create a view that groups rows with a header that delineate a little better? Our use case is that we want deals grouped by deal owner to draw contrast and see them visually grouped other than just using the Asc or Dsc functionality. The header would be the deal owner and then maybe a subheader with the columns beneath it related to that owner.

      Hi Adrianne! Unfortunately, this is not possible directly via Canvas view. However, you could create a pivot table in this format in Analytics, and embed it within your Account view to be included in your Canvas.

    Hello! I have a very basic but possibly complicated question. I have a client that brought ZOHO to me as I’ve worked with other CRM systems in the past and this is their preferred system they want to now move forward with. However, I’m not sure how the ownership or admin works if I set it up with my own email then transfer ownership like I have with other systems. Or, should I walk them through the setup process so that they’ll have to initially start with their own email address. My only worry is that they’ll have access to the system before everything is setup, I’m sure they’ll get email alerts about everything I trigger and test, etc. Any advice is much appreciated!

      Hi Tia - some of this does come down to preference. The way we always set it up is where the client has full ownership over the Account. So, it would be under an email address on their domain. We normally recommend they create a new inbox (or alias) for zohoadmin@domain.com to keep it separate from any specific employee's email address.

    Thanks. We use Canvas, but there is one drawback. The related lists are listed in their creation date order. So the oldest data is shown in the first. There is no way to order the newest items first.

    Shouldn't the exit criteria to stop the cadence give the options for both Reply OR If it exits the view? What if you send emails and the prospect calls you directly then the user needs to remember to manually end the cadence or it just keeps going. Sometimes the customer may come in using an alternative channel. Is there a way to deal with this?

      Hi Sean - good point. There's no perfect way to handle this. What we normally do is set it up to be based on the record being in a specific custom view. Then, we'll set up auxiliary workflows to remove it from that view (via a field update) if other actions occur. In your case, you could set up a workflow based on receiving a reply to an email to satisfy the exit from the cadence.
